Patrice is a fourth generation Oklahoman with a passion for business and a heart for community service. She received her law degree from the University of Oklahoma and practiced law full-time for 13 years. She left her professional legal career to join the family business, where she faced first-hand the everyday challenges of a business owner.
With her legal experience and love of small business, community banking was a perfect fit. She served as President of SpiritBank, and as Executive Vice President of First Fidelity Bank. Currently, she serves as President of Emerging markets for Premier Consulting Partners, a financial service and advisory firm and is an Executive Partner with GiANT. She is also Of Counsel to Latham, Wagner, Steele and Lehman Law Firm and serves on the board of BankSNB and Avondale Acquisition Corporation.
In addition to her vast business experience, she has a passion for community service and has served on many different statewide boards, task forces, and non-profit organizations. She was elected Mayor of Edmond, Oklahoma (Oklahoma’s sixth largest city) in 2009. She was appointed to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission in 2011 and was elected as its Chairman shortly thereafter.
In February, 2011, Patrice received the Kate Barnard Award for Outstanding Public Service in Oklahoma– the first municipal official to ever receive this honor. Patrice was also the recipient of the Energy Visionary Policy Leadership Award in October 2013. She is a three-time finalist for the Journal Record’s Woman of the Year, and has been named Oklahoma Christian’s Distinguished Alumni for the College of Business. In addition, she is one of only four women to ever to run for U.S. Congress from Oklahoma’s fifth district.
She has testified on behalf of Oklahoma before the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and continues to work tirelessly to help grow industries in Oklahoma.
